About
The person behind the projects.

Swayam Prakash Kar
Software engineer. Curious builder.
I’m Swayam Prakash Kar. You can also call me Swayam Kar, Swayam Prakash, or just Swayam. I’m based in Bengaluru, working at Confluent. My interests sit around backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and real-time data.
My applied AI work includes integrating Gemini into a blog workflow during my VENQ internship and contributing to GradePro, an AI-assisted grading platform. I work across backend services and web interfaces with Go, Java, Python, React, and Next.js.
I like writing about what goes into a system beyond the happy path: the checks that make automation safe, and the decisions that only become clear once you build something.
